Joyce Sinclair, bookkeeper, scooter rider and coffee lover, daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. I have been working within the field of bookkeeping and business administration for over 25 years. During that time, I have held positions making the day-to-day financial decisions and provided small businesses with their bookkeeping needs.
Numbers have always been my first love, with order as a close second. It is no surprise, therefore, that I am a bookkeeper.
I was trained in bookkeeping in the UK by David Tenby, an accountant. David taught me everything I needed to know to produce a full set of accounts from a box of paper. Sometimes they were not shoe boxes but packing crates.
During my time working with David I also conducted audits for larger enterprises as diverse as private schools, wholesale grocers, auctioneering firms and slaughterhouses.
All my work during that time was retrospective bookkeeping and it was some time before I understood the value of pro-active bookkeeping.
I have since worked as bookkeeper in various industries continuing to gain a broad knowledge of the accounting needs of vastly different businesses.
Bookkeeping is not merely data entry or ensuring compliance with Australian Tax Office regulations, it is the most important business tool, showing how successful your business is. As your bookkeeper, I will help you avoid surprises by advising you about your cash-flow requirements.
Although most of my clients are in the Armadale, Cannington, Canning Vale, Gosnells, Kenwick, and Maddington areas it does not matter whether you are in Yanchep, Mandurah, York, or all places between I can be of help to you.
I believe information + communication = control.
